Rushton, William "Bill" Murray, 75, Truro, passed away peacefully July 13, 2008 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro with his family by his side. Born May 9, 1933, in West New Annan, he was a son of the late Aubrey and Annie (Miller) Rushton. Bill worked at Brookfield Lumber for many years. He was a member and elder of the West New Annan United Church and the Oddfellows Liberty Lodge No. 120, Tatamagouche. Family always came first with Bill. He was a quiet, soft spoken man who loved the outdoors. Bill was a wonderful husband and an awesome father and grandfather. William is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Irene (Clark); loving daughters, Lea-Anne (Dwayne), Janet, Truro; three granddaughters, Carolyn, Miranda and Andrea whom he loved dearly; sisters, Mary and Edna, both of Tatamagouche, Elizabeth Byers, Scotsburn, Florence (Wayne Cochrane), Lower Sackville; five nieces; several great nieces and nephews; special son-in-law, Robert McConnell, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by brothers, Aubrey and Frank.
