He was born on February 17, 1920, at Wheaton, Kansas, the son of Henry and Mary Keating.
He was married to Lillian Utterback May 8, 1943, at Wheaton, Kansas.
He had made his home in Topeka, Kansas the past thirty-seven years.
Mr. Keating was a electrician for Blue Cross and Blue Shield until he retired in 1980. He was a Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Keating was a member of St.Matthews Catholic Church, Capitol Post No.1 of the American Legion, and Local Union No. 226 of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian, of the Home; a son Stephen C. Keating, Los Angels, California; three sisters, Mrs. Angie Walsh, Mission, Kansas, Mrs. Martina Fincham, Beatrice, Nebraska, Mrs. Nora Cunningham, Wheaton,
Kansas; and two granddaughters.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated At 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 1985, at St. Matthews Catholic Church, Topeka, Kansas.
Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery,
Topeka, Kansas.
