Ida Baie, 91, formerly of Rhodes, died early Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Grandview Heights Nursing Home. Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m., at the Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home with Deacon Earl Evans officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Miss Baie was born April 21, 1900 in Albion, the daughter of Andrew and Susan Berry Baie. She was reared and educated in Marshall County, living in the Albion area For many years before moving to the Rhodes area. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a niece, Irene Banzhaf of Marshalltown; a nephew, Leland Baie of Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews.
