British presenter and theatre impresario. Born Valentine Charles Parnell he rose to legendary status with his televison variety show from the world famous London Palladium "Val Parnell's Sunday Night at the London Palladium" which began in the 1950's. He also worked on "The Howerd Crowd" (1957) with comedian Frankie Howerd. Following his cremation at Golders Green, his ashes were buried in the Eastern Bed-B, and is marked by a Birch tree.
