Rudolph H. Beining
Rudolph H. Beining, 77, Ottawa, died at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2001, at his residence.
He was born on April 15, 1923, in Ottoville, to Theodore and Bernadine (Hellman) Beining. On April 21, 1949, he married Valeta H. Grone and she sunrives in Ottawa.
Survivors also include one son, John (Barb) Beining, New Cleveland; seven daughters, Kathleen (David, deceased) Lewis, Lima, Beverly (Jeny) Hurd, Bremerton. WA, Mary Jane (Greg) Strayer, Fremont, Sharon (Gregory) Nussbaum, Ottawa, Alvera (Kip) Warnke, ,Medina, Carmella (Steve) Lammers, Tipp City, and .Laura (Terry) Wagner, Glandorf; a son-inlaw, Roger Schroeder, Bryan; 25 grandchildren; one brother, Ray (Betty) Beining, Delphos: and five sisters, Angela Kimmet, Mary (Herb) Hempfling, and Alice (Bob) Arnzen, all of Delphos, and Gertrude Schmitz and Irene (Joe) Schroeder, both of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Schroeder; and one sister, Mildred Beckman. Mr. Beining was a retired dairy farmer of New Cleveland. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, and Holy Family Holy Aid Society. He was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran and a member of Ottawa VFW.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa. Fr. Tom Hemm officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, with military rites by the Ottawa VFW.
Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, handled the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice, Friends of the Library or Sts. Peter and Paul School Education Foundation.
