James "Jim" Owen, 67, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, in the Meridian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, in the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.
Jim was born in Denver, Colorado, to the late Arville F. and Jeanne Woods Owen. Jim made a career selling new and used cars in Central and East Texas, spanning over a period of four decades. He enjoyed being outdoors and liked to fish and hunt. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Joseph Owen; and brothers, Gerald and Ollie Owen.
