A gathering will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008, in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Roy for Jerome Ralph Heesacker, who died Feb. 17 of a heart attack at age 73.
Jerome Ralph Heesacker was born Oct. 15, 1934, in Cornelius. He graduated from Banks High School and served in the Air Force for 20 years, including in the Vietnam War. He later lived in San Angelo, Texas, before moving to Reno, Nev., in 2005.
Survivors include his daughter, Kym Shabasson; sons, Rick and Terry; sisters, Lucy Wells, Gladys Murrell, Connie Wiebusch and Marian O'Neill; brothers, Edward and Glenn; and six grandchildren.
