Eurah (Humphrey) was born in Montgomery Township, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on January 1, 1739, the daughter of Thomas Humphrey Sr. (c1710-c1774) & Hanna (Yarbrough).
At the age of 21, she married Thomas Drake Sr (1728-1811) in Chester Co., Pennsylvania, on April 4, 1760 (by LDS ancestral file) & October 14, 1760 (by Pennsylvania Marriages).
After their marriage, Eurah and her husband lived in early Bucks Co., PA, after their marriage; Chester Co., PA before 1769; and Bloomfield, Loudoun Co., Virginia, by 1769. Here in Loudoun County, she and her husband raised their children and grew to adulthood.
Her husband died in Loudoun County, Virginia, in 1811, and Eurah also died in Loudoun County, Virginia, on February 2, 1817, at the age of seventy-eight.
