Carolyn Denise Abernathy Booker, age 58 passed Monday, June 11, 2012 at her residence.

Preceded in death by parents Sylvester Abernathy and Amanda Hunt Abernathy; brothers Columbus, Joe William, Reece, Eddie, and Fulton Abernathy; sister Evelyn Abernathy.

Mrs. Booker was a member of Carmack Boulevard Church of Christ. She attended Maury County schools, and was employed by College Hill Elementary and CPS Corp. Mrs. Booker had a loving spirit that was filled with life and wisdom. She cherished spending time with her family and extended family. Mrs. Booker had a passion for music and being a mother to so many. Cherishing her loving memories: Loving and Devoted Children, Darrell Booker, Rodney Booker, Timothy Booker, Daniel (Angela) Booker; sisters. Ethel Armstrong, Mary McGill, Daisy Matthews, Sandra Abernathy, Betty Abernathy, Colleen (Randy) Mathers , and Edith (Charles) Bills; brothers, Robert Abernathy and Sammy (Elaine) Aberna-thy; loving God-daughters, Crystal Runions and Victoria; eight grandchildren; one great-grand child.

A host of nieces, nephews, aunt, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends and family on Fri-day, June 15, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Roundtree, Napier, and Ogilvie's Columbia Funeral Home, located at 919 East 8th Street, Columbia, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 1-2 pm with Funeral Services to follow at 8th and Woodland Church. Eulogist- Reverend Ashley Cox.

Interment- Campground Cemetery in Culleoka,

Tennessee Roundtree, Napier, and Ogilvie's Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
