Charles J. Torp
Funeral services for Charles J. Torp, 80, who died of causes of old age Wednesday, were conducted Saturday at Woods Chapel of the Pines, Bishop Harold A, McCracken of the 19th LDS Ward officiated.
Services included invocation, Clyde May; speaker, Bishop George L. Jensen; benediction, Kay May.
Organ meditation and postlude music were played by Cladene Pyfer who also sang in a woman's trio with Opal Clayton and Faye Andrus accompanied by Jeanine Mickelsen. A vocal solo was sung by William L. Severson with Pres. Jack a Wood Jr. as accompanist.
Pallbearers were Henry Irwin, LaVier Reeves, Leonard Harding, Les Winchester, Howard Brammer and August Rhoades.
Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home with Jack A. Wood Sr. giving the dedicatory prayer.
