A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, August 26, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Reaves officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro.
A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Shoffner was born July 30, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Samuel M. Loflin and Pallie Nance Loflin. She was a member of Balfour Baptist Church, enjoyed reading and was a huge NASCAR and Jimmy Johnson fan. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shoffner was preceded in death by her husband, Hervey Shoffner, Sr., and her sons, Timothy Van Shoffner and Michael Loflin Shoffner.
Mrs. Shoffner is survived by her son, Hervey Shoffner, Jr., and wife, Vicki, of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Kate Moore, of Asheboro, NC, Juanita Winslow, of Farmer, NC; brother, Troy Loflin, of Salisbury, NC; grandchildren, Kelly Shoffner Lanier and husband, Dale, Jessica Shoffner; great grandchildren, Mason Lanier and Siler Shoffner.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
