"Mrs. Hannah Smith is Dead at Age of 76"
Mrs. Hannah Smith, wife of John Smith, died at the home of her son, Edward Siebert, 1005 Antoinette street, early yesterday morning. She was 76 years of age and had spent more than 60 years of her life in this city.
She is survived by four children, Charles and Frank Miller and Edward Siebert of Peoria, and Mrs. Bertha Martin of Detroit, Michigan. Also surviving are twenty-six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Smith was born in Germany November 27, 1848, and came to the United States of America at the age of 3 years. She had long been a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilton Mortuary Chapel tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock followed by services at the Christ Lutheran church at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the Lutheran cemetery.
(Hannah's first husband was Anton Miller. Her second was William Siebert. Her third husband was John Smith. She was also known as Anna, Annie and Dorothea.)
