F. Guyton Allums, 90, a native of Leaksville, MS and long-time resident of Mobile, died at his home Thursday, August 16, 2013. Guy was the Auditor for Terminal Railway at the Alabama State Docks for many years. He was an official in various High School sports in Southwest Alabama and was an avid golfer. He is preceded in death by his parents Lena and JT Allums, first wife, Catherine Toler Allums , son, Fredrick Guyton Allums, Jr., three sisters and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Maude Quinn Allums, daughter, Cindy (Woody) Klinner, step-daughter Debbie (Don) Snyder, step-son Louis (Michelle) Raue, granddaughter Kate (Deron) McMichael, great-granddaughter, Christine McMichael and two brothers, Alva "Bubba" and Donny Allums. A visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Monday, Aug. 19 from 5-8pm with graveside services at McLeod-Magnolia Cemetery in Leaksville, MS on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Salvation Army.
