Mary Emily (Oliver) Yates.
Married to Edna Amelia "Sis" (Salter) Yates

Moved from Neshoba County, Mississippi around 1890 to a rural community of Coltharp, Texas, Coltharp was on Cochino Bayou twenty miles east of Crockett in eastern Houston County. Texas.
EDNA AMELIA SALTER was the daughter of William Washington Salter and Mery Edna Lee. They raised a family of ten children. (they are not all in photo)
At the time of my Great-Grandfather's death he was living with my Grandparents, Bob & Linnie Yates in Jayton, Texas, even though my Great-Grandmother Yates was buried st Antoch in Houston County, Texas, he requested, "his bones be buried in Jayton, Texas."
All burials of their ten children are accounted for.
