OBITUARY: Henry L. Clouser, 87, entered into rest Sunday, November 7, 2004, at his residence. He was the husband of Catherine E. (Zinn) Clouser with whom he celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on February 6th. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Clouser was born on June 22, 1917, in Hanover, to the late Benjamin and Anna Clouser. He was the stepson of the late M. Helen (Abreight) Clouser. He was a member of York Second Church of the Brethren for 75 years. He was a Life Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and Sunday School teacher. In addition, he was a member of Weigelstown Lions Club and Weigelstown A.A.R.P. Chapter 3875. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Gary N. Clouser of Lititz; a daughter, Ruby A. Minnich of York; five grandchildren, Gregory S. Minnich, J. Mark Minnich, Melissa J. Ehresman, Bradley D. Clouser, Christie M. Runkle; three great-grandchildren, Jared P. Ehresman, Andrew J. Ehresman and Jasmine G. Runkle; a brother, Ray Clouser of Arizona; two sisters, Thelma Filbey and Anna June Wise, both of York; and many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Ken and Paul and three sisters, Pauline, Helen and Dorothy. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, at York Second Church of the Brethren, 869 E. Princess St., York. Officiating will be his pastor, Courtland Howard. Final resting place will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to York Second Church of the Brethren, 869 E. Princess St., York, PA 17403. Arrangements by the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, York (Shiloh).
