Lula Mae Neighbors-Baugus of Pawhuska, Oklahoma passed away July 10, 2013 at the age of 91. She was born August 29, 1921 to James Arthur Baldwin and Lillie Mae (Hunt) Baldwin in Seymour, Texas. In 1990, she married Garland Baugus in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She retired from Singer where she worked proudly for many years. She had a passion for church and gospel music. Lula loved to work in the garden and sew. She was extremely talented and witty.



She is survived by second husband, Garland Baugus of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; stepdaughters, Phyllis A. Broyless of Emporia, Kansas and Linda K. Thiele of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; stepson, Garland Harris Baugus also of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jackie L. Hufford, Timmy J. Simmons, Sherry D. Day, Terry J. Beasley, Delinda D. Brown, Paige Mitchell, Jeb Corbin White; 21 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.



Lula was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley W. Neighbors; daughters, Marva J. Neighbors-Lovett and Shirley W. White; grandchild, Shelly Sno White; parents, James Arthur and Lillie Mae Baldwin .



A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation prior to the service at the funeral home.
