EARL BROOKS, CAR MISHAP VICTIM DIES

CALDWELL - Earl E. Brooks 69, a retired automobile dealer, died last night in a Nampa hospital of injuries suffered Feb. 19, in an automobile accident near Kuna.

Mr. Brooks was born May 13, 1893 at Hiawatha, Kan. He moved with his family to Kentucky and from there in 1907 to Caldwell, where he resided ever since. He was the owner of the Brooks Motor Company for 18 years and retired in 1940. He was a member of the Bapist Church.

He is survived by his wife Blanch (Griffin) Brooks, whom he married at Nampa in 1916 and his mother, Mrs. Martha Brooks of this city. A daughter Mrs. Frances Ford of Nampa also survives, as do four sisters, all of Boise: Mrs. Elsie Wilson, Mrs. Glessie Corbin, Mrs. Cecil Olson and Mrs. Neita Inglis. He had two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Flahiff Chapel in Caldwell with Rev. Kenneth Armstrong officiating. Interment will be at Cloverdale Memorial Park in Boise.
