LILLIE ROBERTS STAMPER, 85, of Beattyville, KY, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at her residence. She was born February 23, 1924 in Breathitt County KY, the daughter of Charlie and Viola Roberts. She was a homemaker and member of the Beattyville Baptist Church.
Survivors are son, Charles E. Stamper (Lucy M) of Gaylord, MI, Jessica Thompson *Michael Dylan Thompson, Healther Holmes (Jason) *Hannah Grace Holmes *Cody Thomas Holmes; son-Marvin Stamper (Patricia) of Gaylord, MI - Theresa Witt (David) *Christopher James Witt - Marvin Stamper, Jr. (Joan) *Miranda Jane Stamper; Son - Larry Stamper(Royetta), of Winchester, KY - Charles Fremon Stamper; daughters, Delois S. Noe of Mt. Sterling, KY - Angela Gayle Fox(Doug) * Hillary Nicole Fox*Katlin Leann Fox - Jason Edward Noe (Betty) *Ryan Gavin Noe; daughter Ruth Ann Hollon (Bill) of Taylorsville, KY - Tamatha HOllan *Christopher Davis - Treasure Bryant (Nolan) * Baily Bryant *Will P. Bryant *Ethan Bryant; son Lawrence Stamper (Maryann) of TAylorsville, KY - Adam Edward Stamper (Shellie) - Valerie Lynn Stamper; daughter - Blanche Arnold (Ronnie) of Beattyville, KY - Andrew Scott Arnold; niece - Shirley Jean Stamper.
She was preceded in death by parents, Husband, Edward; two sons, Wendell and Kerney Stamper and seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel with Bro James Overbee officiating. Burial will be in the Stamper Cemetery, lee County KY.
Grandsons will serve as pallbears.
