Raymond "Bud" Harrison

A vigil service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday for Raymond "Bud" Harrison, 85, of Orland at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Dominic's. Father Michael Downey will officiate.
Mr. Harrison died June 9, 1993, at the Riverside Convalescent Hospital in Chico.
Born July 4, 1907, in Orland, he was a lifetime resident of that town. He graduated from Orland High School in 1926.
He owned and operated Harrison's Refrigeration for 40 years, until his retirement in 1972.
He was a member of the Orland Eagles and of the Modern Woodmen.
His wife Nora preceded him in death in 1990.
Survivors include two daughters, Hannah Barletta and Joan James, both of Orland; a sister, Annie R. Forrester of Orland; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial in the Orland Masonic Cemetery will follow the Mass.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in care of F.D. Sweet and Son of Orland. - Transcribed by M.
