She married Leslie E. Stoddard on August 1, 1946, in Edon, OH and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2008. Mildred lived her early life in Edon, OH area, before moving to Addison in the late 1940's.
She was formerly employed at Driggs Dairy in Palmyra. She was a member of the Addison Congregational Church in Addison, and she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and gardening.
Mildred is survived by one daughter, Leslie (David) Pearson of Spring Lake, MI; one son, Charles (Jane) Stoddard of Franklin, TN; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Glennivee Clapp of Clayton; one sister-in-law, Ramona Stoddard of Adrian; one brother-in-law, LeRoy Stoddard of Commerce Township, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leslie, two sons, Dale and Gary Stoddard.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside services were held Friday, July 26, 2013, with Pastor Kevin M. Duffy, officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Addison Congregational Church, Addison, MI.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison.
