Mary Fox [see photo] was the granddaughter of John Fuchs and Frances B Mueller Fuchs, and Johann Georg Zeun and Maria Eva Geibel (of Gronau, Germany), and was the 6th child of John August Fox and Christina Zeun Fox.

Mary's siblings were: George F. Fox [see memorial], John A. Fox, Jr. [see memorial], Eva Fox [see memorial], Minnie Fox [see memorial], Elizabeth Caroline Fox Bahr, Pauline A. Fox [Lehner] [see memorial], William E. Fox [see memorial], and Harry Fox [see memorial]).

She was beloved by her family and was said to have a faith-based life.

Mary worked at her mother's florist business (B.C. Fox Florist at 743 Columbia Ave., Baltimore), as well as sold flowers at their licensed stall at Lexington Market; and according to family history, she would stay well after she had finished to help others sell their wares.

She married Frank J. Meyer[s?] on January 1, 1896, at Our Saviours Lutheran Church (the first wooden building). Frank was a traveling salesman in her florist business. They had one child, Edna F Meyer.

After Frank died Aug. 24, 1918, Mary married James Miller. Little is known about him, except that he may have come from D.C.

The last residence of Mary was on 5th Ave. in Lansdowne. Mary Meyer-Miller is buried next to her first husband.
