A graduate of Yale and a Connecticut Senator, he married Susan Rogers on Sept. 11, 1797. The children of John, Sr. & Susan Austin (There were 13 children):
William Tennant Austin: b. 1-30-1809, d. 2-25-1874
He married Elizabeth Bertrand. Also married Joanna Thomas. He and Elizabeth had nine children that I have come across so far.
He and Joanna had: Caroline Austin.
John Punderson Austin, Jr. b.3-17-1801. He was a Texas settler in Stephen Fuller Austin's Old 300 who came to Texas. John Punderson Austin, Jr. married Elizabeth Ellet Lippencott. They had children (2) but they and their father died in an early cholera outbreak. Thomas F. L. Parrott, a doctor and also reporting to Stephen F. Austin (Father of Texas). T. F. L. Parrott (of note) died, then she married William Pierpoint.
