WALLACE, Frederick John
1934 - 2005
With great sadness we say goodbye to our beloved father, husband, grandfather and friend. Born in Detroit, Michigan on February 13, 1934, the son of Merle J. and Anna (Golomok) Wallace. He graduated from St. Theresa High School, class of 1952. Upon graduation he joined the United States Air Force and served his country proudly for over 20 years. During his military career he worked for the Pentagon and served in the Vietnam War. He was distinguished and decorated with numerous awards and medals. One such medal was awarded to him for his valet efforts to save a civilian's life. Upon his military retirement, he worked 10 years for The May Co. Department Store as Credit Manager and worked 10 1/2 years for the County of Los Angeles in the Probation Department. He is survived by his wife Connie of 49 1/2 years, son John, daughters' Cynthia, Sandra, Anna (husband Steven), Katherine, nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church located at 45007 N. Cedar Ave., Lancaster. Burial will follow at the Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery located at 43121 70th Street West, Lancaster. Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel, Lancaster in charge of arrangements.
