Dora B. Comer Reedy, 85, wife of Orley G. Reedy, of Bel Air, died on Saturday, Feb. 13, 1971, at 5:15 p.m. at Harford Memorial Hospital, following a lingering illness. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for 36 years.

Dora attended school for only a few months during her childhood. She allowed the Lord to come into her life at a young age and was baptized into a baptist church at Fox Creek. Throughout her life she held fast to her motto "Duty", which she devoted to her husband and family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven children, Carl Reedy of Pylesville, Lester Reedy of Troutdale, Va., Mrs. Edith Halsey of Marion, Va., Mrs. Clara Richardson of Bel Air, Gordon Reedy, at home, Hayden Reedy of Bel Air, and Mrs. Hazel Wagner of Baltimore; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Beadie Barker and Mrs. Ruth Grubb, both of Troutdale, Va.

Funeral services were held on February 16th from the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Burcham and Rev. Dewey G. Rhodes and Elder F. E. Thompson officiating. The honorary pallbearers were Bert Coomes, Harold Hubble, Ovid Barker, George Comer, Sam Comer, J. A. Walls, and Clarence Bowles. Active pallbearers were Harold, David, and J. L. Reedy, Jr., Mark Jenkins, Hugh and Ronald Richardson.

Services were under the direction of the Foster Funeral Home, Bel Air, Md.
