Charles Costley, 94, of Modesto died May 16 at his home.
Mr. Costley was a native of Oregon and lived in Modesto 80 years. He was a refrigeration repairman. He was a Modesto High School graduate and a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union 442, the Modesto Rifle Club and Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and large-rifle shooting.
He is survived by his wife, Winona Costley of Modesto; son, Carl Costley of Oakdale; sister, Bess Vaughn of Merced; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Citizens Cemetery. Cunningham's Affordable Burial & Cremation Center in charge of arrangements.
