Mrs. Mary K. Slemmer, of Glen Carbon Road, died at 2:30 a.m., Saturday. She had been ailing for some time from complications.
Mrs. Slemmer was born in Bohemia on June 14, 1878. Her husband was the late Joseph Slemmer. The following children survive: Mrs. Mary Shimunek of Edwardsville, Frank Slemmer and Mrs. Anna Baca of St. Louis, Mrs. Josephine Ontko of Glen Carbon Crossing, and Mrs. Lena Sickbert, Mrs. Barbara Gerling, Mrs. Rose Burian, Mrs. Mildred Moehle and Miss Helen Slemmer, all of this vicinity. Eight grandchildren and a brother, Albert Sedlacek, also survive.
The body will remain at the Schneider Funeral Home on St. Louis street, where the funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be at the Buck Road Cemetery.
