Robert E. Richardson, 62, died of a heart ailment at his home on Elm street. He was the father of Robert F. Richardson, unsuccessful candidate of the Republican nomination for mayor of New Albany. He was office manager at the City street department garage. Other survivors include two step-daughters Mrs. John W. Timmons and Mrs. C. E. Ehalt, both from Carrollton, Ky.
