Mrs. Anna O'Palka, wife of Gustave O'Palka, died at 5:45 p.m. at her home, 413 Grape Ave. She had been bedfast for the past four months. Mrs. O'Palka was a native and life long resident of Johnstown.
She was born on June 6, 1878, daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Albrecht Esterly. In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children: Mrs. Norma Holtzman, 628 1/2 Napoleon St.; Mrs. Florence Koerner, Brooklyn, NY; Robert, at home; Mrs. Catherine Brunner, Stockton, CA; Mrs. Irene Gavura, 413 Grape Ave. and Clifford, stationed with the Army at Ft. Dix, NJ. There are 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was a sister of Mrs. Samuel Cooper, Strauss Ave.; Mrs. James Mangus, 450 1/2 Somerset St.; Mrs. John Kleinmeyer, Fontaine, CA and John Esterly, Los Angeles, CA
