She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charlie Wheat; parents, Albert Luther and Annie Lee Renfroe Rollins; grandson, David Swanson; sons-in-law, Kenneth Gordon and Cosby "Friz" Bowers; and brothers, John, Ballenger, Claude and Quinn Rollins.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene Gordon Bowers of Dalton, Helen and Bryan Sharpe of Eton and Sue and Ray Deverell of Cohutta; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Carolyn Wheat of Crandall; grandchildren, Melinda and Ricky Baisden, Judy Gordon, Danny and Desirre Gordon, Randy and Pat Gordon, Steve and Robin Gordon, Tim and Paula Gordon, Tracy and Amy Wheat, Brian and Melody Deverell and Kevin Deverell; stepgrandchildren, Rena Pritchett, Tina and Don Ledford and Lewis Lynch; 25 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services are Sunday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with the Rev. Sam Melton officiating.
Burial will be in Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
