James Seymour Pinkman, of Stanfordville, died suddenly at Vassar hospital Wednesday morning from a heart attack. He had been ill for some time from a complication of diseases. He was much better and expected to return home, from the hospital the day following his death. He was 60 years of age and was born at Saranac, Clinton county, a son of Clarence and Sara Lawrence Pinkman and came to Stanford where he had resided for 35 years. He was formerly a farmer and of late years was proprietor of the former Yale house at Stanfordville. Surviving him is his wife, who was Margaret Mulcahy; one daughter, Mrs. James Brennan, of Stanfordville; three sisters, Mrs Guy Cane of Salt Point, Mrs Washburn Parsons of Saranac; and Vera Pinkman of New York City; two brothers, George Pinkman, of Saranac Lake and Wales Pinkman of Rochester; two nieces, Margaret McVeady and Alice Mulcahy, who reside at the Pinkman home, also several other nieces and nephews. The burial was in the Christian Cemetery at Stanfordville.
