She was born in Hayward June 17, 1892. Was married to John Thompson in 1911. To this union 5 children were born, four of which survive their mother, one an infant of only two weeks old. She also leaves to mourn her departure besides her husband, father, and mother, three sisters and four brothers: Mrs. Olds of Portland, OR; Mrs. Frank Felix of Spooner, WI; and Eva Brathen of this city; Richard of Minneapolis; Earl of Detroit, MI; and Palmer of this city.

Mrs. Thompson was a young woman of fine qualities of heart and mind, a mother who gave her full strength and all of mother love to her children, who proved herself a helpful neighbor having the highest respect of all who knew her in the varied aspects of her life.
The loss is keenly felt by the husband and children. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to them in their great sorrow.
