Death of John Patnode
John Patnode died last evening at his home on East Sixth street after a long illness. Mr. Patnode had lived here for the past ten years, and was for a long time night clerk at the Central Hotel. He is survived by his widow and two grown children, a son and a daughter who reside at Wamego. The funeral will be held tommorow morning at 10 o'clock from the home. 223 East Sixth street, and interment will be in Highland Cemetery.

John Patnode
John Patnode, for ten years a resident of this city, died Wednesday evening at his home on East 6th street, death being due to a cancer of the neck. He has suffered very much for the past year with this and had been bed ridden for some weeks. He was for several years night clerk at the Central hotel. His widow of this city and a son and daughter living at Wamego survive him. The funeral was held Friday morning.
