DECATUR -William Dale Brackett, 53, of Decatur, died 4:23 a.m. Monday (Oct.
22, 1990) in his home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in First Church of the Nazarene. Visitation
will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home. Burial will be in
Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, with graveside military rites by
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 99. Memorials: First Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Brackett was born in Chicago on Aug. 5, 1937, son of Arthur Dale and Mabel
Bradford Brackett. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He
formerly owned and operated Olympic Broadcasting in Chicago and was formerly
employed by WAND-TV. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He
married Deloris J. Wright in 1960.
Surviving are his wife; son, Mark A. of Decatur; daughters, Mrs. Mickey A.
(Tracy L.) Kuhn of Romeoville; Mrs. Harry (Tina) Maxeiner of Decatur; sisters,
Mrs. Raymond (Sue) Howell of Decatur; Mrs. Larry (Jean) Hubner of Mount Zion;
brother, David of Decatur; one grandchild.
His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
