James J. Timmins died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Ackerman, of McSherrystown, on Wednesday, aged 69 years and 21 days.
He was a son of the late Thomas and Magdaline Timmins and is survived by his wife, who before marriage was Miss Annie Sneeringer; and the following children, Mrs. Charles Ackerman and John Timmins, of McSherrystown; Edward Timmins of Edgegrove; Mrs. Mary Lewis of Baltimore, Md.; Miss Sallie Timmins and Mrs. John Sneeringer, of Irishtown.
He was a member of the Beneficial Association of Conewago and New Oxford.
Funeral was Friday with requiem high mass at St. Mary's Church by Rev. Father Leo Kerchner and interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
