Daughter of Reynolds Kenyon and Abby Coombs, born 2 December, 1817 in Washington county, Rhode Island. VR
Abby was named after her father's 2nd wife Abby Coombs and his 1st wife Permelia Dyer.
Abby married John Russ, son of Daniel and Abigail Russ, in 1846, Alabama City, Genessee, New York.
At that same time, Abby's sister Ursula was living in Alabama City, with her husband David Woodbeck and their children.
Abby and John were the parents of Nelson Daniel and Ellen Russ.
Abby died 1 March, 1851, in her 34th year, per the Bible records of the Kenyon Family. VR
"Abby P., wife of John Russ, daughter of Reynolds and Abby Kenyon, died 1 March, 1851, 34th year".
Abby was survived by her husband John Russ, son Nelson Daniel Russ, daughter Ellen Russ; her parents, Reynolds and Abby Coombs Kenyon, sisters Deborah, Ursula and Sarah; and brothers Thomas, Job, David, DeWitt, Stephen, Frank and Gurdin.
After Abby died, John and the children moved to Allegan, Allegan, Michigan, where Abby's parents were living.
In 1859, John remarried to Jane C. Kenyon, daughter of Lewis Kenyon (per her death certificate). Abby's cousin Lewis Albert Kenyon was Jane's father.
John died 19 October, 1871, and is buried with Abby's parents, his 2nd wife Jane and brother George C. Russ, at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey, Allegan, Michigan.

The records came from the bible of Gurdin N Kenyon, my 2nd Greatgrandfather, brother of Abby Permelia Kenyon Russ, which is in my possession.
