The book "Illustrated Album of Biography of Pope and Stevens Counties, Minnesota", within a biography of the family of Milo and Sara (Northup) Camp, says "... Nicholas, father of Sarah Northup was the father of fourteen children, several of which died in infancy. Those who lived to arrive at manhood and womanhood were George T., Anson, Stephen, Brock, Sarah, Roxy, Eliza, Eunice, and Freelove."

Elizabeth's husband, Nicholas, was living with his daughter Elizabeth Hammond in 1855. He died in an accident while returning from a trip to Minneapolis to visit his son, Anson (according to the History of Cattaraugus, 1879). His burial location may be with his wife but there seems to be no record of it.
