Katarina was born in Beckov, Trencin, Slovakia, the daughter of Jan Pevala and Katarina Noszalik. She married John (Jan) Miskovic on 20 Oct. 1878 in Beckov. She died in Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Trencin, Slovakia, between 1904 and 1909. Her 3 children who survived to adulthood left Slovakia after her death. A daughter and son came to the U.S.; another son went to France.
