Rita Agnes Connelly Hamilton, 74, Baldwinsville, died Friday at her home after a brief battle with cancer. A native of Fulton, she lived most of her life in the Syracuse area and attended the Binghamton Business Institute. She retired in 1991 after 23 years as a switchboard operator with Grouse Hospital and also worked several years for the Syracuse Police Department. She was a communicant of St. Stephen's Church in Phoenix. Her husband, Guy E., died in 1992. Surviving are a son, John M. of Radisson; a daughter, Teresa A. Zablocki of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a nephew; and several cousins. Services are Monday in St. Stephen's Church, Phoenix. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
