"Eva S. Jackson, 81, of Knoxville, died Dec. 30, 1992 in St. Mary's Hospital.
"She was preceeded [preceded] in death by her husband the Rev. Dewey R. Jackson and daughter Sharon Marie [Maria] Jackson.
"She was a member of North Knoxville Baptist Church.
"Surviving are son and daughter[-in-law] Paul and Mona Jackson of Dallas, Texas, daughters and sons-in-law; Barbara and Jim Moore and Delores and Bill Gorman both of Knoxville, Faye Jackson of Dallas, Texas, and Kay and Sonny Towle of Knoxville.
"Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, step-mother Parley Solomon and brothers; Kenneth and Leroy Solomon.
"Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday in North Knoxville Baptist Church with the the Rev. Charles Sharits, the Rev. Russell Cornett and the Rev. Guy Milam officiating.
"Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
"Berry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."
