Connie was first married to Steven C. Martin, with whom she had two children, Melanie and Todd. Her second marriage was to Robert ("Bruce") Jagow. She died at her home in San Jose, California with her husband Bruce by her side and her mother near. Connie was cremated and her ashes were lovingly scattered by her husband. He scattered some of her ashes at Glenn Pass in the sierras near Mt. Whitney and some at a location special to the two of them - from a hill overlooking a lake in a Cupertino park. Yellow flowers were peeking up through the grass when Bruce scattered Connie's ashes by the lake. Yellow was her favorite color.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Connie was survived by her children; two step-sons and her sister, Wanda.
