Mrs. Regina Lee Bice Hudkins, age 90, a resident of Plymouth NC and a former resident of West Virginia died Sunday August 19, 2012 a Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Harmer Funeral Home of Shinnston, WV officiated by Minister Kevin Nuzum. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM before the memorial service at Harmer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hudkins was born in Harrison County, WV on June 7, 1922 daughter of the late John Jacob Bice and the late Carrie Elizabeth Helms Bice. She was a 1940 graduate of Shinnston High School. Mrs. Hudkins married John Victor Hudkins on January 9, 1943 who preceded her in death on January 17, 2002 following 56 years of marriage. She was a member of Charles Street Christian Church and a 50 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Shinnston. Mrs. Hudkins served her family as a homemaker and was a very caring mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Hudkins is predeceased by three brothers: John Bice, Ward Bice and Berle Bice.
