Wilbur A Blain, 58, of 620 New Castle Street, died Saturday afternoon in the Butler County Memorial Hopsital, after a short illness.
Born in Center Township, he was the son of the late John Milton and Elsie VanGorder Blain.
He was a sergeant in the plant protection department of Butler Armco, and also operated the Blain Insurance Agency in partnership with his wife.
He was a member of St Mark's Luteran Church, Jefferson Grange, Armco Association, Armco Veteras Club and Armco Foremans Club.
A brother, John M Blain, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs Lillian E McCall Blain; two daughters, Mrs Robert D. (Betty) Fry and Mrs William C. (Patricia) Corbett, both of Butler; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Raymond (Effie) Walter and Mrs Fred D (Winona) Sweesy, both of Butler; and two brothers, Arthur G and Richard P Blain, both of Butler.

BLAIN-Friends of Wilbur A Blain of 620 New Castle St, who died Saturday, October 1, 1966, will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home, 124 E North St, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday and at the church for an hour before the services. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday from St Mark's Lutheran Church, with the Rev John W Auer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Thompson.
