Funeral services for Jesse "Jack" Bullington, lieutenant on the Macon Fire Department, of 809 1/2 Pine Street, who died in a local hospital at 6 a, m. Thursday, will be held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 4 p. m. Friday The Rev. A. C. Baker and the Rev. C. A. Jackson, Jr. will officiate and burial will be in Ebenezer cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J. I. Floyd, H. W. Moseley, J. H. Wilder, B. L. Kelly, A. I. Carter, and H. B. Bloodworth. Members of the Sunday school class of which he was a member will constitute an honorary escort.
Mr. Bullington was born in Jones County, the son of J. R. Bullington and Mrs. Lula Mae Thompson Bullington and had lived in Macon since young manhood. He was a member of Baptist Tabernacle and of the men's Bible Class there. He had been on the fire department for 19 years.
Surviving are his wife, the former, Miss Ollie Moore from Baldwin County, a daughter, Mrs. Ellis [sic] Busbee, Macon, three brothers, Elick S, Bullington, Sr., D. H. Bullington, Lizella, R. M. Bullington, Gray, a sister, Mrs. R. M. Parham, Eatonton, his stepmother, Mrs. J. R. Bullington, Gray and several half brothers and half sisters.
