SLONEKER, JoAnn of Oxford, Ohio passed away on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12, 2013 at home with her family by her side. She was the eldest daughter of Glen & Viola (Hoffman) Schuster. JoAnn married Kenneth (Dale) Sloneker after attending Miami University in Oxford. She is survived by her husband Dale; her children, Douglas (Barbara) Sloneker, Denver, CO; David (Stephany) Sloneker; Ross, OH; Susan (Brad) Miller, Playa Del Rey, CA; sister, Elaine Isphording; niece, Michele Gramke and family; nephew, Scott Isphording and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, father and mother-in-law, Kenneth A. and Helen Sloneker, brother-in-law, Jack Isphording. Private graveside services were held at Collinsville Cemetery with John Witt, Pastor, officiating. JoAnn's many talents included her love of gardening at her Oxford home. She also enjoyed cooking and was able to showcase that talent at the many family dinners she and Dale hosted. Evidence of her love of painting folk art was abundant in and around her home. JoAnn and Dale participated in many activities at Miami University and the surrounding area. She was a sweet lady in every sense of the word and will be dearly missed.
