LeBLANC, Caleb Michael - - - A senior at St. Amant Hich School and a resident of St. Amant, he died at 12;20 a.m. Saturday, Jan 4, 2003, in St. Amant. He was 17 and a native of Metairie. Visiting at Household of Faith, Airline Highway, Gonzales, from 9;15 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.,m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Ed Bledsoe. Interment in Hope Haven Cemetery, La 30, Gonzales. Survived by his parents, Reynold and Karen Strickland LeBlanc, St. Amant; a sister, Sunny LeBlanc, St. Amant; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jody and Randie LeBlanc, Gonzales, and Luke and DeSheia LeBlanc and Josh LeBlanc, all of St. Amant; maternal grandparents, E.A. and Ruby Strickland, St. Amant; Paternal grandmother, Mercedes "Mert" LeBlanc, Sorrento; two nephews, Kyle and Zachary LeBlanc; and three nieces, Kelly, Sophie and Jadyn LeBlanc. Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Mike LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Allen Villenuve, Matt Bourgeois, Todd Tullier, Dennis Becnel, Travis Leader, Devin Duplessis, Blake Brignac and Daniel Morgan. Honorary pallbearers are Jody, Luke and Josh LeBlanc, Chris Putman and Charles "P'Nut" Guedry. He was Future Farmers of America treasurer for the school year 2002-2003 at St. Amant High School. Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, in charge of arrangements.
