Anna Jean Bell, 88, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, in Granbury. Memorials: Shriners Children's Hospital. After retirement, A.J. lived in Trinidad on Cedar Creek Lake. She was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Dallas and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1942. She received a bachelor of science degree from Texas Wesleyan University and was a dedicated teacher at South Birdville Elementary. A.J. was an avid card player, very active in the Garden Club, and her church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Odus Bell; parents, Joe and Lorene Gann; her two brothers, David and Bobby; and sister, Carolyn. Survivors: A.J. is survived by her son, Mike Bell and his wife, Donna; daughters, Cindy and Susie Bell; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles; a host of nieces and nephews; and many friends.
