Gertrude McClung
The funeral for Gertrude M. McClung, 83, of Bowling Green, will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, in the Peinert Funeral Home, Whitehouse.
She died Wednesday in Wood County Hospital.
Mrs. McClung was a Gold Star Sister in Bowling Green.
She was born Aug. 15, 1911 in Wood County on to Charles and Etta (Younkin) Avery. On Jan. 1, 1935 she married Alton J. McClung, who died on July 24, 1991.
Surviving are three sisters-in-law, June Avery, Oregon; Geraldine McClurg, Charlotte, Fla.; and Doris Rediger, Pioneer. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green. Rev. Lyle Loomis will officiate.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
