Obituary: Charles A. Manning, husband of Addie Ryan Manning and lifelong resident of this city who resided at 635 Shasta Street, died Tuesday morning after a long illness. He was member of the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and for many years as in the employ of Mrs. Robert L. Manning as a chauffeur. Besides his wife he is survived by five sons, 2nd Lt. Robert Manning USAAF in the South Pacific, John P. Manning and Bernard Manning of this city, Charles E. Manning, MM 2/c USN, and Francis Manning, C2/c USN; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Pynenburg of Merrimack, Mrs. Gerald H. Beauregard of this city and Mrs. Berwin Webster of this city; one brother James. J. Manning of this city; 27 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. The body of Mr. Manning is at the family home, 635 Shasta street, from where the funeral will take place Friday morning at 8:15 o'clock. Solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 9, to which friends are invited.
