~ My Precious Nellie ~

She would say me and her was as one..

*************
NOTE:

4-21-06...All your children was here, and Paul! It was so good to see them all. Paula looks so much like you. Has your beautiful smile. She misses her Momma so much...

**************
I loved her so much, and miss her everyday.
I will always treasure the time God allowed us to live next door to each other, and be there for each other. I just wished I had spent more time with her. You don't ever know when God is gonna come calling.

Beloved Husband: Paul David Wylie.

Children: Paula Soto, Neal, and Gilbert Wylie.

"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she´s growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for the heart of purest gold,
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she´ll always be,

Put them together, they spell "MOTHER"

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I'm following the path God has laid you see.
I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that peace at the close of the day.

She loved to piece quilts, and quilt them. She quilted until her arthritis got so bad, she couldn't anymore.
Her little hands were so crippled. Before she got to sick to travel. She would go on trips with her husband, Paul. I don't remember how many states she got to go to. He was a truck driver. Nellie collected bells, Paul got her a pretty bell from every state, I think. They were beautiful!

She died of cancer.I was one of her caregivers. I am so thankful that I was able to be there for her, and the children. She is Home, now. No more suffering, no more tears.

She lived next door to me, and I would go over and visit with her, and have a cup of coffee. I miss those times so much. We were always there for each other.

Everybody loved Nellie, cause Nellie loved everybody!

NOTE:

I want to thank you for the flowers, love, and comforting words you leave for my precious Nellie.

May the Light of God surround you.
The Love of God enfold you,
The Power of God protect you,
The Presence of God watch over you.

God's many blessings to you and yours,

Rita Faye Epperson-Miracle
