KNITTEL, Bobette Christine Born May 4, 1948, returned to God May 28, 2005, in Kenya, Africa. Beloved Wife, mother of seven children, teacher, counselor, mentor and trusted friend, Bobette passed away while serving on a Mission for Ministries of the Heart, a not for profit organization she founded. An AV resident for 30 years, she was responsible for the RCIA program at Sacred Heart Parish in Lancaster and had served as Director of Religious Education for St Mary's Parrish in Palmdale and Incarnation Parrish in Glendale. She will be missed by the numerous lives she has touched both in the Valley and abroad. Bobette was survived by her Husband of 35 years, Fred, her children Jeff, Monique, Josh, Julie, Greg, Tim and Ted, by her daughter-in-laws, Katrina and Natalie, by her son-in-law, Jason, and by her nine grandchildren, Alyssa, Andrew, Lauren, Aubrey, Nick, Johnny, Jonah, Christian and Hannah as well as her mother Norma, brother and 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews. A remembrance Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church at 12:30 p.m., on Saturday, June 11, 2005, and interment at St Andrew's Abbey at a later date.
